Welcome to the Elisheva Qimperio Empowerment Foundation (EQEF)! We're a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for apprentices who may not have access to education or support in building their skills.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to discover and develop their interests and talents, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic location. We offer completely free reading and writing, skills-based programming in a make and sell production system where 100% of items sold is reinvested into EFQA.
We support to build confident to allow our candidate with reading and writing skills to understand English written text, to give them the joy of things as simple as reading a menu in a restaurant, a traffic sign in the road, a letter from the bank or an email or text from a friend, and leadership development to 18- 60-year-olds from low-income communities.
Our programs provide career development, employment with a liveable wage, and other vital support services, empowering individuals and transforming communities. Our mission focus on empowering individuals to reach their full potential. We provide resources, support and training opportunities for personal and professional growth, and grants for education. Our organization has been active for over five years and has run highly successful programs in Nigeria in the city of Lagos and Ikorodu.
In addition to our work in Ikorodu, we have also made a significant impact in the city of Lagos. We have partnered with local communities in Nigeria and Uganda to support orphanage children in their fight against poverty.
Through our partnerships, we provide essential items such as dry food and medical supplies to ensure their basic needs are met. We also believe in the power of education, so we offer essential educational support to these young orphans, empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to build a brighter future.
By working closely with local communities, we aim to create sustainable change and uplift the lives of these children. We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Our mission at EQEF is to create equal opportunities for individuals, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographical location, so that they can explore and nurture their interests and talents. We are dedicated to providing essential resources and support to orphanage children, empowering them to successfully transition from childhood to young adulthood.
Together, with the support of our generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we are making a positive impact in the lives of orphanage children in Lagos and beyond.

What We Do
In the city of Lagos, and Ikorodu Nigeria, and Uganda, EQEF is all about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and orphanage children. We go the extra mile to provide them with essential resources like food, medical supplies, and educational support. But that's not all! We also have some exciting programs in place.
One of our key initiatives is the Transferable Skills Program. Through this program, we equip these individuals and children with valuable skills that they can carry with them throughout their lives. From communication and teamwork to problem-solving and leadership, we want to empower them to thrive in any situation.
Another project close to our hearts is the Feeding Families Project. We believe that no child should go to bed hungry, so we work tirelessly to ensure that these children and their families have access to nutritious meals. By addressing their immediate needs, we aim to create a strong foundation for their overall well-being.
And let's not forget about scholarships! We understand the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty. That's why we offer scholarships to deserving orphanage children, giving them the opportunity to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
Through our collaboration with local communities, we strive to create sustainable change and break the cycle of poverty. Together, we are building a brighter future for these children in Lagos, Ikorodu, Nigeria, and Uganda.
